en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D20_ModernThis is the round about of what we want to do...only instead of everyone being shaded to the creatures instead of the player, everyone lives like they normally would, creatures and human types living like we do...doing normal things. Kinda like Oblivion.

Okay lets do this I want everyone to think of all the games you have played recently that have involved some sort of multiplayer to it...no matter if its Action oriented or whatever and pick something out of that game that you liked or that stood out to you and we will see if we can bring some of those elements together. This is not limited to gameplay, mechanics, graphics, how players moved, how vehicles react or move around and so forth.

Only thing that comes to mind currently is the mission setup for APB, where you ready yourself for a mission, get assigned a mission, then go and do it, plus fight against the opposing side if it ends up happening. However, this kinda against the "no forced pvp", however if people know that it is going to include pvp, then its not exactly forced.

Okay first off would be the character customization of APB and Aion...I haven't seen Guild Wars 2 so I can't really express how I feel about it. Second would be the way vehicles handle in GTA 4. They actually felt as if I were controlling an actual car, it had weight to it and after a while controlling it became second nature. Third would have to be the way questing was set up in Morrowind and Oblivion. Being cast out with only one direct and that was your main quest. You had to make the decision to go off the path and find other quests. This brings me to the Fable series. Making a decision can affect whether you are a good, neutral or bad character. Also scars from battles. If I can think of any more I'll be more than happy to post them.

Basically... as close to RL as possible for a MMO?
That would be awesome... something that gives you real world situations... in the real world, you don't have exclamation points over someone's head... BUT you do have town posts and whatnot.... would be a cool way to find quests...
the rest of the gameplay I haven't really considered much... Character creation for APB is awesome, so i'd be down for that... but I've never tried Aion, so i can't give input on that... the vehincle handling i agree with, and the decision making like in fable, where you start out neutral and build rep that determines your alignment... I LOVE THAT!
Liking the concept so far!

Apparently from what I've heard, each character you make will have hundreds of content to go through, and not like grindy content either. It's about an hour long video and towards the end (I wanna say around the 40 minute mark) they talk about SWTOR. The entire thing is good to listen to with regards to mmos(cause that's what it's about).

Well since you referenced D20 Modern...would you be using a form of the D20 system or did you have something else in mind?

I do have some pretty sick ideas for some weapons. Guess I could help with that.
